Tom McNeill

Tom McNeill is a legal executive specialising in criminal litigation with an emphasis on serious and complex crime, including corporate manslaughter, health and safety offences, all types of fraud, murder, sexual offences and offences against the person.

Notable cases that Tom has assisted on include the CSFB insider dealing case, the horse race fixing case prosecuted by the CPS and investigated by the City of London Police, the “Suffolk Strangler” case, which was the largest investigation in Suffolk constabulary’s history, and the Baha Mousa Public Inquiry.

Tom has also acted on a number of criminal matters for professionals and high profile individuals, substantial corporations in relation to fatal accidents, and individuals and corporations in relation to high profile and high value fraud prosecutions.

Tom joined BCL Burton Copeland in 2002.  He has a law degree from Lancaster University and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. Tom is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers’ Association.
